~1min read

NOTE

The remote transmitter will not work in the following cases:

• The key is in the ignition switch.
• The transmitter is beyond the maximum transmission range (approximately 30 m).
• The transmitter battery is discharged.
• Signal transmission is obstructed by other vehicles or objects.
• Extremely low ambient temperature.
• The remote transmitter is near a source of radio signals, such as a radio station or airport, which may interfere with normal transmitter operation.

If the remote transmitter does not operate properly, lock and unlock the doors using the ignition key. If problems occur with the remote transmitter, contact an authorized HYUNDAI dealer.

If the remote transmitter is located close to your mobile phone or smartphone, the transmitter signal may be blocked by normal operation of the mobile phone or smartphone, especially during outgoing or incoming calls, or when sending/receiving text messages and/or e-mail. Avoid placing the remote transmitter and your mobile phone or smartphone in the same clothing pocket, and keep a sufficient distance between the two devices.
