Opening the Trunk

Using the Smart Key

To open the trunk, press and hold the trunk release button on the Smart Key for more than 1 second, or press the button on the trunk handle while carrying the Smart Key.

Using the Key and Remote Control

To open the trunk, insert the key and turn it clockwise to unlock.

Using the Trunk Release Lever

To open the trunk from inside the vehicle, pull the trunk release lever.

In addition, once the trunk is opened and then closed, it will lock automatically.

NOTE

In cold and humid climates, locks and door mechanisms may not operate properly due to freezing.

WARNING

The trunk lid opens upward. When opening the trunk lid, make sure there are no objects or people near the rear of the vehicle.
