To close the trunk lid, lower it and then press down on it until it latches.

Always check that the trunk lid is closed by pulling it upward.

WARNING

While driving, the trunk lid must always be fully closed. If it remains open or is fully open, exhaust gases may enter the passenger compartment, which may cause serious illness or death.

WARNING

Never allow people to ride in the trunk.

The trunk is a very dangerous place for people to be in the event of a collision.
