Never adjust the rearview mirror while the vehicle is moving. This may result in loss of control and an accident, causing injury or death to persons or damage to property.

Rearview Mirror Day/Night Position

Adjust the rearview mirror position before driving and when the day/night lever is in the day position.

Pull this lever toward you to reduce the glare from headlights of vehicles behind you during night driving.

Note that the image quality is somewhat reduced when the mirror is in the night position.

Electrochromic Mirror (ECM) (if equipped)

The electrochromic rearview mirror automatically reduces the glare from headlights of vehicles behind you at night or in poor visibility. A sensor built into the mirror detects the light level around the vehicle and, using a chemical reaction, automatically reduces the glare from headlights of nearby vehicles.

While the engine is running, this function is automatically controlled by the sensor built into the rearview mirror.

When reverse is selected, the mirror automatically switches to maximum brightness so the driver has a better view through the rear window.

Do not spray the cleaner directly onto the mirror, as it may enter the mirror housing.
