Exterior rear-view mirrors

Be sure to adjust the rearview mirror angles before driving.

This vehicle is equipped with two outside rearview mirrors, one on the right and one on the left.

The outside mirrors can be adjusted remotely using the switch. The mirror housings can be folded back to prevent damage during an automatic car wash or when driving on a narrow street.

WARNING

- Outside Rearview Mirrors

• The right outside rearview mirror has a convex surface.

In some countries, the left outside rearview mirror is also convex.

Objects in this mirror appear farther away than they actually are.
• Use the interior rearview mirror or turn your head to judge the actual distance to vehicles approaching from behind when changing lanes.

If ice prevents the mirror from moving, do not adjust its position. To remove the ice, use a special de-icer or a sponge or soft cloth soaked in warm water.

Mirror with Manual Folding

The outside rear view mirrors are equipped with a remote control system for driver convenience.

Mirror position is adjusted with the lever in the lower front corner of the door window.

Before driving, make sure the rear view mirrors are adjusted so that you can see the area behind the vehicle, both left and right, as well as directly in front of the vehicle. When using rear view mirrors, always be careful when judging the distance to vehicles behind or beside you.

Power Mirrors (if equipped)

The remote mirror adjustment switch allows you to adjust the angles of the right and left outside rear view mirrors. To adjust either mirror, move the selector lever (1) to the R (Right) or L (Left) position to select the right or left mirror, then press the corresponding area () of the mirror adjustment switch to move the selected mirror up, down, right or left.

After adjustment, return the selector lever to the neutral position to prevent accidental change of the setting.

Folding the Outside Rear View Mirror

To fold the outside rear view mirror, press the button.

To unfold it, press the button again.
