Windshield Wiper

With the lever in the o (OFF) position, pull it slightly toward you to spray washer fluid onto the windshield and operate the wipers for 1 to 3 cycles. Use this function when the windshield is dirty.

The washer and wipers will continue to operate as long as the lever is held.

If the washer does not operate, check the fluid level in the washer reservoir. If the fluid is low, add a suitable non-abrasive windshield washer fluid to the reservoir.

The washer fluid reservoir filler neck is located at the front of the engine compartment on the passenger side.

CAUTION

• To prevent damage to the wiper blades or windshield, do not operate the wipers when the windshield is dry.
• To prevent damage to the wiper blades, do not allow them to come into contact with gasoline, kerosene, paint thinner or other solvents, and do not use these fluids in the immediate vicinity of the blades.
• To prevent damage to the wiper arms and other components, do not attempt to move the wipers by hand.
