Climate Control Air Filter
The climate control air filter, located behind the glove box, removes dust and other contaminants from the outside air entering the vehicle through the heating and air conditioning system. As dust and other contaminants accumulate in the filter, airflow from the ventilation outlets may decrease. Contact an authorized HYUNDAI dealer to replace the climate control air filter.
As a result, moisture may condense on the inside of the windshield even when the system is operating in fresh air mode. If this occurs, inspect and clean the climate control air filter.
NOTE
• Replace the filter in accordance with the maintenance schedule.
If the vehicle is operated under severe conditions, such as on dusty or rough roads, more frequent inspection and replacement of the climate control system filter is required.
• If air flow decreases unexpectedly, have the system inspected by an authorized HYUNDAI dealer.
