Component Location

Item Description
SPAS SPAS control unit
(ECU)		 • Calculate the wheel parking path
• Calculate and request the steering angle to the MDPS
• Front/rear object warning and detection logic
Front/rear sensor • Front/rear object detection
Side sensor • Check parking
Buzzer • Generate warning sounds: front, rear, and mute
Cluster • SPAS HMI (human machine interface) output: parking progress and object warning.
MDPS
(Motor Driven Power Steering)		 • SPAS association control logic: control the steering wheel to request the SPAS steering wheel angle (refer to Group ST - "MDPS System")
Switch • SPAS switch and PAS ON/OFF switch.
