Disc Brake Wear Indicator

~1min read

When the brake pads are worn and new pads are required, you will hear a high-pitched warning noise from the front or rear brakes. You may hear this noise while driving, or it may occur whenever you depress the brake pedal.

Please be aware that certain driving conditions or climates may cause brake squeal when you first depress (or lightly depress) the brake pedal. This is normal and does not indicate a brake problem.

CAUTION

To avoid costly brake repairs, do not continue driving with worn brake pads.

✽ NOTICE

Always replace brake pads as a complete set for the front or rear axle.
