In the OFF position, gently pull the lever toward you to spray washer fluid onto the windshield and operate the wipers for 1-3 cycles.

The washer spray and wipers will continue to operate as long as you hold the lever. If the washer does not spray, you may need to add washer fluid to the washer reservoir.

WARNING

When the outside air temperature is below freezing, ALWAYS warm up the windshield before using the washer to prevent the washer fluid from freezing on the windshield and blocking your view, which may result in an accident and serious injury or death.

CAUTION

  • To prevent possible damage to the washer pump, do not operate the washer when the fluid reservoir is empty.
  • To avoid damaging the wiper arms and other components, do not move the wipers by hand or operate the wipers when the windshield is dry.
