WARNING
To avoid serious injury or death:
- Never disassemble the radar or radar assembly, and never apply impact to the radar.
- If an impact is applied to the radar or near the radar, the sensors may be damaged or may not be properly aligned. Even if a warning message is not displayed on the instrument cluster, the Driver Assistance System may not operate properly. Have the vehicle inspected by an authorized HYUNDAI dealer.
- If the radars have been replaced or repaired, have the vehicle inspected by an authorized HYUNDAI dealer.
- Use only genuine HYUNDAI parts when repairing the bumper where the radar is located.
- Do not install a license plate frame or other items, such as a bumper sticker, film, bumper guard, or bumper protector near the radar.
- The Driver Assistance System may not operate properly if the bumper has been replaced, or if the area around the radar has been damaged or painted.
- If a trailer or trailer hitch is attached, it may adversely affect the performance of the rear corner radars or the Driver Assistance System may not operate.
