The rear seats are equipped with headrests at all seating positions for passenger safety and comfort.

Up and Down Height Adjustment

To raise the head restraint:

1. Pull up to the desired position (1).

To lower the head restraint:

1. Press and hold the lock release button (2) on the head restraint support.

2. Lower the head restraint to the desired position (3).

Removal/Installation

To remove the head restraint:

1. Raise the head restraint as far as possible.

2. Press the release button (1) and pull the head restraint up (2).

WARNING

NEVER allow anyone to sit on a seat with the head restraint removed.

To reinstall the head restraint:

1. Recline the seatback.

2. Insert the head restraint posts (3) into the holes while pressing the release button (1).

3. Adjust the headrest to the appropriate height.

WARNING

Always check that the head restraint locks in the correct position after reinstallation and adjustment. This is necessary for proper occupant protection.
