If the front radar is covered or blocked, its detection performance is reduced, and Smart Cruise Control is temporarily limited or disabled.

The warning message "Smart Cruise Control Disabled. Radar Blocked" may appear on the instrument cluster.

If Smart Cruise Control does not operate normally after the sensor has been uncovered or unblocked, have the vehicle inspected by an authorized HYUNDAI dealer.

WARNING

  • Smart Cruise Control may not operate properly even if there is no warning message or warning light on the instrument cluster.
  • Smart Cruise Control may not operate properly on open areas where no objects are detected (e.g., empty parking lots) or when the sensors are blocked immediately after turning on the engine.
