1. Stop the vehicle and fully depress the brake pedal.

2. Make sure the shift lever/button is in the P (Park) position.

3. Press the START/STOP button to switch to the OFF position and apply the Electronic Parking Brake (EPB).

4. Take the key with you when you leave the vehicle.
