Using MP3 CD Mode

MP3 File Play/Pause

Once an MP3 disc is inserted, the mode will start automatically and playback will begin.

During playback, press thePress the pause buttonPress the button to play.

✽ NOTICE

If the disc contains many files and folders, reading time may take more than 10 seconds, the list may not be displayed, or song search may not work. Try again after loading is complete.

Changing Files

pressPress the key to move to the previous or next file.

✽ NOTICE

• Pressing the key after the file has played for 2 seconds will restart the current file from the beginning.
• Pressing the key within 1 second of the file starting will play the previous file.

Selecting from the List

TurnTurn the TUNE knob left/right to search for the desired file.

Once you find the desired file, press theTUNE knob to start playback.

Fast Forward/Rewind Files

During playback, press and hold thebutton (more than 0.8 seconds) to rewind or fast forward the current file.

Scan

pressbutton to play the first 10 seconds of each file.

Folder Search

pressbutton to select and search for a folder.

Once the desired folder is displayed, press theTUNE knob to select it.

Playback of the first file in the selected folder will start.

MP3 CD Mode Menu

In this mode, you can access the information, random (shuffle), repeat, copy, and list functions.

Information

pressbutton to display details about the current file.

✽ NOTICE

• When "Folder File" is set as the default display in the Display settings, album/artist/file information is shown as detailed file information.
• When "Artist Album" is set as the default display, folder name/file name is shown as detailed file information.
• Title, artist, and album information is displayed only when such information is recorded in the ID3 tag of the MP3 file.

Random (Shuffle)

pressbutton to play files in random (shuffle) order.

Each press of the button changes the function in the following order: Random (Shuffle) Folder ➟ Random (Shuffle) All ➟ Off.

• Random (Shuffle) Folder: Plays all files in the current folder in random (shuffle) order.
• Random (Shuffle) All: Plays all files in random (shuffle) order.

Repeat

pressbutton to repeat the current file or folder.

Each press of the button changes the functions in the following order: Repeat ➟ Repeat Folder ➟ Off.

• Repeat: Repeats the current file.
• Repeat Folder: Repeats all files in the current folder.

Copying Files

pressbutton to copy the current file to My Music.

✽ NOTICE

If another function is selected during copying, a pop-up will ask whether you want to cancel copying. To cancel, select "Yes".

List

pressbutton to display the file list screen.

TurnTurn the TUNE knob left/right to search for files. Once the desired file is displayed, press the knob to select and play.
