Adding Washer Fluid

The windshield washer fluid reservoir and rear window washer (if equipped) share a common reservoir. The reservoir is located in the engine compartment. Be sure to check the fluid level at regular intervals. Fill the reservoir only with windshield washer solvent (not engine coolant/antifreeze). When refilling the washer fluid reservoir, draw a small amount of washer fluid and apply it to the wiper blades with a rag or towel and wipe the blades; this will help wiper blade performance.

To prevent the windshield washer system from freezing in cold weather, select a solution or mixture that meets or exceeds the temperature range of your climate. This rating information can be found on most washer fluid containers.
