Adjustable Upper Shoulder Belt Anchorage
For the driver and front passenger seats, the upper shoulder belt anchor can be moved up or down to position the seat belt away from your neck. Push or squeeze the anchor button to release the anchor, and move it up or down to the position that suits you best.

Adjustable Upper Anchor
As a guide, if you are shorter than average, you will prefer the shoulder belt anchor in a low position, and if you are taller than average, you will prefer the shoulder belt anchor in a higher position. After releasing the anchor button, try to move it up or down to make sure it is locked in position.
NOTE:
The adjustable upper shoulder belt anchor is equipped with the Easy Up feature. This feature allows the shoulder belt anchor to be adjusted upward without pressing the release button. To check that the shoulder belt anchor is locked, pull the shoulder belt anchor down until it locks in position.
- Improper seat belt use can make your injuries in a collision much worse. You may receive internal injuries or may even slide out of the seat belt. Follow these instructions to wear your seat belt correctly and keep your passengers safe as well.
- Position the shoulder belt across your shoulder and chest with minimal slack, if any, so that it is comfortable and does not rest on your neck. The retractor will remove any slack from the shoulder belt.
- Improper seat belt adjustment may reduce the effectiveness of the seat belt in a crash.
- Always adjust the height of all seat belts when the vehicle is stopped.
