  1. Remove the retainers under the rear seat (one left and one right).
  2. Pull the carpet rearward and open the carpet split around the seat belt anchorage.

  3. Remove the carpet from under the cargo floor and the side support, then pull the carpet outward.

  4. When reinstalling the carpet, reverse these steps, making sure the carpet is tucked under the sill trim, center pillar, and console, and secure the retainers.
