  1. Remove the retainers under the rear seat (one left and one right).
  2. Slide the carpet forward and open the carpet split around the seat belt anchorage and under the center seat bracket.

  3. When reinstalling the carpet, reverse these steps, making sure the carpet is tucked under the sill trim, center pillar, and console, and secure the retainers.
