Air Cleaner Housing Installation

• For ZX1000JD/KD, be sure to install the pad [A].

• Install the clamp bolt heads [A] inside as shown in the figure.
• Install the air cleaner housing on the throttle body assy.

Push in the ducts [B] touch the stoppers [C] of the throttle body.

Be sure the hoses are routed correctly and properly installed.

• Tighten:

Torque - Air Cleaner Housing Clamp Bolts: 2.0 NВ·m (0.20 kgfВ·m, 18 inВ·lb) Air Cleaner Housing Assembly Screws [D]: 1.1 NВ·m (0.11 kgfВ·m, 10 inВ·lb)

• Run the leads and hoses correctly (see Cable, Wire, and Hose Routing section in the Appendix chapter).
• Install the removed parts (see appropriate chapters).
