  • Replace the O-ring [A] with a new one.
  • Apply engine oil to the new O-ring.
Idle Speed Control Valve Actuator Installation

  • Install the idle speed control valve [A] as shown in the figure.

  • Tighten: Torque - Idle Speed Control Valve Actuator Retainer Screws: 2.06 NВ·m (0.21 kgfВ·m, 18 inВ·lb)
    • Idle Speed Control Valve Actuator Installation

    • Install the removed parts.

    If the idle speed control valve actuator is replaced, be sure to do the following procedures.

    Turn the ignition switch to ON.

    Turn the ignition switch to OFF, and wait for 2 or 3 seconds.

    Inspect the idle speed (see Idle Speed Inspection in the Periodic Maintenance chapter).
