Removal and Installation

  1. Remove the battery. (Refer to Engine Electrical System - "Battery")
  2. Remove the engine cover.
  3. Remove the air duct (A).

    Tightening torque: 7.8 ~ 9.8 N·m

  4. Remove the air cleaner assembly.
    1. Disconnect the barometric pressure sensor (BPS) connector (A).
    2. Disconnect the breather hose (B).
    3. Disconnect the booster hose (C).
    4. Loosen the clamp (D) and disconnect the intake duct from the throttle body.

      Tightening torque: 2.9 ~ 4.9 N·m

    5. Remove the air filter assembly (E).

      Tightening torque: 7.8 ~ 9.8 N·m

  5. Install in the reverse order of removal.
