Description

The hydraulic system consists of the oil, oil filter, oil pump, and hydraulic block (valves and solenoid valves). The oil pump is driven by the engine. ATF passes through the oil filter and is distributed to the oil passages. Oil under high pressure leaves the oil pump and passes through the pressure regulator valve before being supplied to the clutch and brake control valves, the clutches, and the brakes. The TCM controls hydraulic pressure using the solenoid valves and monitors the operation of the clutches and brakes.
