Removal and Installation

  1. Remove the drive belt. (Refer to Valve Timing System - "Drive Belt")
  2. Remove the drive belt tensioner (A).

    Tightening Torque: 53.9 ~ 58 N·m

  3. Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

Inspection

Inspect the tensioner pulley for excessive oil leakage, abnormal rotation or vibration. Replace if necessary.
