When the light switch is in the AUTO position, the tail lights and headlights will turn on or off automatically depending on the amount of light outside the vehicle.

CAUTION

  • Never place anything on the sensor (1) located on the instrument panel. This ensures better control of the automatic lighting system.
  • Do not clean the sensor with window cleaner. The cleaner may leave a light film that can interfere with sensor operation.
  • If your vehicle has tinted glass or other types of coating on the front windshield, the automatic lighting system may not operate correctly.
