Rear Window Defroster

The defroster heats the glass to remove frost, fog, and thin ice from the inside and outside of the rear window while the engine is running.

• To activate the rear window defroster, press the rear window defroster button located on the center panel switch panel. The rear window defroster button indicator illuminates when the defroster is on.
• To turn off the rear window defroster, press the rear window defroster button again.

✽ NOTICE

• If heavy snow has accumulated on the rear window, brush it off before turning on the rear window defroster.
• The rear window defroster turns off automatically after approximately 20 minutes or when the ignition is off.

Outside Mirror Heaters (if equipped)

The outside mirror heaters operate at the same time as the rear window defroster.

Windshield Wiper De-icer (if equipped)

The front wiper de-icer operates at the same time as the rear window defroster.
