Kia Kia Forte 2019-2023 (BD) Repair Manual

This third-generation (BD) Kia Forte compact sedan repair manual covers the 2.0-liter four-cylinder Nu second-generation engine. Under the long hood of the Kia Forte is a 2.0-liter four-cylinder Nu engine featuring Atkinson cycle technology and a cooled exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) system. Atkinson cycle and cooled EGR, commonly used in hybrid and electric vehicles, are designed to improve fuel efficiency. The new powertrain can be paired with either a six-speed manual transaxle or the all-new Kia Intelligent Variable Transmission (IVT). The engine and in-house developed continuously variable transmission are the first in a new lineup of high-efficiency Smart Stream powertrains that will be introduced across the Kia model range in the future.
