Description

The BSD radar frequencies used are two: "North American Region" and "Except North American Region". If replacing the BSD unit, the BSD unit must perform the variant coding procedure. BSD Variant Coding
  1. Select the "BSD Variant Coding" procedure in the BSD system.
  2. Perform the "BSD Variant Coding" procedure according to the GDS screen message.
  3. Select "C1" or "C2" for each region and transmission. Then continue the BSD variant coding process.
  4. Select the "Read BSD Variant Code" procedure.
  5. Perform the "Read BSD Variant Code" procedure according to the GDS screen message.
    If the BSD module has not been coded, "Variant code: No" is displayed. Be sure to perform "BSD Variant Coding".
