Removal

  1. Relieve the residual fuel pressure in the fuel line (refer to "Relieve Residual Fuel Pressure" in this group).
  2. Remove the fuel tank. (Refer to "Fuel Tank" in this group)
  3. Disconnect the fuel tank pressure sensor and fuel pump connector (A).
  4. Remove the pump plate cover (B) after removing the mounting bolt, then remove the fuel pump from the fuel tank.

Installation

  1. Install in the reverse order of removal. Fuel pump plate cover bolt: 2.0 ~ 2.9 N·m
    When installing, make sure the direction of the fuel pump is correct (align with the groove in the fuel tank).
