Inspection

  1. Disconnect the connector of the IMS control switch (A).
  2. With the IMS control switch in each position, check that continuity exists between the terminals below. If continuity does not match the specification, replace the IMS control switch. Driver Power Seat Control Switch (for IMS)

Removal

  1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
  2. Remove the seat side cover switch (A).
  3. Remove the seat side cover (A). (Refer to Group BD - "Front Seat")
  4. Disconnect the connector of the IMS control switch (A).
  5. Loosen the mounting screws of the IMS control switch (A) (3EA).

Installation
  • Make sure that the connectors of the IMS control switch and the corresponding connectors are connected correctly.
  • Make sure that the IMS control switch operates normally.
  1. Connect the connectors and install the IMS control switch.
  2. Install the side seat cover.
