Inspection

  1. Speaker Troubleshooting
    1. Basic speaker inspection: Check the sound from the speaker, making sure the speaker mounting screws are removed and the wiring connector is connected, to eliminate any possible vibration transmitted from the body trim and surrounding parts.
    2. Troubleshooting
      No. Symptom Inspection/Remedy
      1 Rattling Noise
      1. Before replacing the speaker, make sure it is securely mounted.
      2. Remove and reinstall the speaker if necessary to check the mounting.
      3. If the rattling noise persists after checking the mounting, replace the speaker.
      2 Noise
      1. Check for poor wiring connections. Repair as necessary.
      2. If static noise occurs with both the radio and CD, check the speakers.
      3. If static noise occurs only with the radio, check for antenna problems.
If only radio interference occurs, it is caused by poor radio reception. Therefore, the speaker does not need to be repaired or replaced.
      3 Speaker
      Operating condition
Check the wiring connection between the battery and the speaker
      1. Before replacing the speaker, check the electrical connections between the audio unit/amplifier and the speaker.
      2. Attach a test speaker to the harness to check for signal.
      3. Check the speaker resistance.   Specified resistance: 2 ~ 4 ?
      4. If the speaker does not meet specifications or has poor sound quality, replace the speaker.

      When handling speakers:
      • Do not damage the speaker by impact, such as dropping or throwing it.
      • Be careful not to spill water or oil on the speakers.
      • Be careful when handling the speaker, because the diaphragm material is paper, which tears easily under impact or external force.
      • Modifying the audio system may damage the speakers. Speakers modified in this way are not covered by the manufacturer's warranty.
