Adjustment

Transmission Control Module (TCM) Learning. When a shift shock occurs or parts related to the transmission are replaced, TCM learning must be performed. TCM learning is required in the following cases.

• Transaxle Assembly Replacement
• TCM Replacement
• TCM Upgrade

TCM Learning Procedure

1. 1
   Automatic transmission fluid (ATF) temperature: 40 ~ 100 °C
2. 2
   Static Learning. Repeat the shift pattern below four or more times with the brake applied.

   Driving Learning. Drive the vehicle from a standstill in the D position through all gears: 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th, holding the accelerator pedal at the specified Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) value (15~25%).
