Adjustment of Shift Cable

T/M control cable adjustment procedure

   Set the shift lever on the passenger compartment side and the manual control lever on the T/M side to the "N" position.

   Connect the cabin-side shift lever and the shift cable.

   Push the cable in the direction shown by "F" to eliminate the FREE PLAY.

   Tighten the adjusting nut (A).

   Tightening torque: 7.8 ~ 11.8 N·m

   After proper adjustment, be sure to check that the part operates properly in each range on the T/M side corresponding to each shift lever position.
