  1. Turn the ignition OFF and disconnect the negative (-) battery cable.
  2. Remove the lower crash pad panel and reinforce the panel. (See Body - "Lower Crash Pad Panel")
  3. Remove the shower duct (A).
  4. Disconnect the stop lamp switch connector (A).
  5. Remove the brake pedal mounting nut (A).
  6. Remove the lock pin (A) and the flat head pin (B).
  7. Remove the brake pedal assembly mounting nuts (A), then remove the brake pedal assembly.
