Kia Sorento: Vehicle Handling Precautions

As with other vehicles of this type, improper handling of this vehicle may result in loss of control, accident, or rollover.

Due to special design characteristics (greater ground clearance, track width, etc.), this vehicle has a higher center of gravity than other types of vehicles. In other words, it is not designed to take corners at the same speeds as conventional 2-wheel vehicles.

Avoid sharp turns and sudden maneuvers. Again, failure to operate this vehicle properly may result in loss of control, an accident, or vehicle rollover. Be sure to review the driving instruction "Reducing the Risk of Rollover" in Section 5 of this manual.
