Replacement
  • Wear gloves to protect your hands.
  • Using a flat-tip screwdriver, wrap protective tape around the tip and apply protective tape around the relevant parts to prevent damage.
  • Use a plastic panel removal tool to remove the interior trim parts so as not to damage the surface.
  • Be careful not to bend or scratch the trim and panels.
  1. Remove the rear seat back trim [LH] or [RH]. (Refer to Rear Seat - Rear Seat Back Cover)
  2. Loosen the mounting bolts and remove the rear seat latch (A).

    Tightening torque: 19.6 - 29 N·m

  3. Remove the rear seat lock rod (A) in the direction indicated by the arrow.
  4. Install in the reverse order of removal.
