Jacking Instructions
The jack is intended for emergency tire changes only.
To prevent the jack from rattling while the vehicle is moving, store it properly.
Follow the jacking instructions to reduce the risk of injury.
WARNING - Tire Jack
Do not place any part of your body under the vehicle while it is supported only by the jack, as the vehicle may easily slip off the jack. Use safety stands.
WARNING - Tire Replacement
Never attempt to repair the vehicle on a public road or highway traffic lane.
- Always move the vehicle completely off the road onto the shoulder before attempting to change a tire. The jack should be used on a hard, level surface. If you cannot find a hard, level place off the road, call a towing service for assistance.
- Make sure you use the correct front and rear jacking positions on the vehicle; never use the bumpers or any other part of the vehicle as a jacking point.
- Do not allow anyone to remain in the vehicle while it is supported by the jack.
- Make sure all children are in a safe place away from the road and from the vehicle being raised with the jack.
WARNING - Moving Vehicle on Jack
Do not start or run the engine while the vehicle is supported by the jack, as this may cause the vehicle to fall off the jack.
