Turn the wing bolt holding the tire counterclockwise.

Store the tire by reversing the removal procedure.

To prevent the spare tire and tools from rattling while the vehicle is moving, store them properly.

If you have difficulty loosening the wing bolt that holds the tire, you can loosen it easily using the jack handle.

1. Insert the jack handle (1) into the wing bolt that holds the tire.

2. Turn the wing bolt counterclockwise using the jack handle.

Be careful when using the sharp end of the jack handle.

WARNING - Touching the Luggage Compartment Floor Surface

Do not touch the metal surface of the luggage compartment while the engine is running or hot. This may cause serious injury.

Turn off the engine and wait for it to cool, or wear gloves, before removing the spare tire from the luggage compartment.
