~1min read

The light switch has a headlight position and a parking light position.

To control the lights, set the knob on the turn signal lever to one of the following positions:

1. OFF position

2. AUTO position

3. Parking light position

4. Headlight position

Standlichtposition

In the "Parking light" switch position (3rd position), the tail lights, position lights, license plate light and instrument panel lights are on.

Headlights / Parking lights

In the "Headlight" switch position (4th position), the headlights, tail lights, position lights, license plate light and instrument panel lights are on.

WARNING

The headlights can only be turned on when the ignition is on.

Automatic Headlight Control

In the AUTO switch position, the parking lights and headlights are turned on and off automatically depending on the outside light conditions.

WARNING

  • Never place objects over the sensor (1) on the instrument panel, as this will impair the automatic lighting control.
  • Do not clean the sensor with windshield washer fluid. The washer fluid may leave a film on the sensor, which will delay the sensor function.
  • If your vehicle's windshield is tinted or has a metallic coating, the automatic lighting control function may be impaired.
