This indicator shows which shift lever position of the automatic transmission is selected.

• Park: P
• Reverse: R
• Neutral: N
• Drive: D
• 4-speed transmission
  - Sport mode: 1, 2, 3, 4
• 6-speed transmission
  - Sport mode: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6

In Sport mode, this indicator shows which gear to drive in.

• 4-speed transmission
  - Upshift: ▲ 2, ▲ 3, ▲ 4
• 6-speed transmission
  - Upshift: ▲ 2, ▲ 3, ▲ 4, ▲ 5, ▲ 6

Recommends downshifting to 3rd gear (the shift lever is currently in 2nd or 1st gear).

If the system is not functioning properly, this indicator will not appear.

• For 5-speed transmission

  - Upshift: ▲ 2, ▲ 3, ▲ 4, ▲ 5, ▲ 6
  - Downshift: ▼ 3, ▼ 4, ▼ 5

Example

: Recommends downshifting to 3rd gear (the shift lever is currently in 2nd or 1st gear).

: Recommends downshifting to 3rd gear (the shift lever is currently in 4th, 5th, or 6th gear). If the system is not functioning properly, this indicator will not appear.
