Filter Inspection

If the vehicle is operated under severe conditions, such as in cities with polluted air or on dusty rough roads for a prolonged period, the filter should be checked and replaced more often. When you, the owner, replace the climate control air filter, follow this procedure and be careful not to damage other components.

Replace the filter in accordance with the Maintenance Schedule.

Filter Replacement

1. With the glove box open, remove the stoppers from both sides.

2. Open the glove box and remove the support strap (1).

3. Remove the cover by pressing the lock on both sides of the cover, and remove the climate control air filter.

4. Replace the cabin air filter.

5. Reassemble in the reverse order of disassembly.

✽ NOTICE

When replacing the climate control air filter, install it correctly. Otherwise, the system may generate noise and the filter efficiency may be reduced.
