Cruise Control System

The cruise control system allows the vehicle to be programmed to maintain a constant speed without pressing the accelerator pedal.
This system is designed to operate at speeds above approximately 30 km/h.
If cruise control remains on (CRUISE indicator in the instrument cluster is illuminated), cruise control may be engaged accidentally. Keep the cruise control system off (CRUISE indicator off) when cruise control is not in use to avoid unintentionally setting a speed.
Use the cruise control system only when driving on open highways in good weather.
Do not use cruise control in heavy or changing traffic, on slippery (wet, icy or snowy) or winding roads, or on roads with grades steeper than 6%.
✽ NOTICE
- During normal cruise control operation, when the SET switch is activated or reactivated after braking, cruise control engages after approximately 3 seconds. This delay is normal.
- To activate Cruise Control, depress the brake pedal at least once after turning the ignition switch to the ON position or starting the engine. This is to check that the brake switch, which is an important part of cancelling Cruise Control, is in normal condition.
WARNING: Improper use of cruise control.
Do not use cruise control when road conditions do not allow you to drive safely at a constant speed and with sufficient distance from the vehicle ahead.
