The following maintenance items must be performed to ensure good emission control and performance.

Keep all receipts for vehicle emission-related services to protect your warranty. Where both mileage and time are shown, the maintenance interval is determined by whichever occurs first.

I: Inspect and adjust, repair, clean, or replace as necessary.
R: Replace or change.
*1: The drive belt should be replaced if cracks appear or tension decreases.
*2: If TOP TIER gasoline detergent is not available, one bottle of additive is recommended. Additives can be purchased from an authorized Kia dealer along with information on how to use them. Do not mix other additives.
*3: Check for excessive valve noise and/or engine vibration and adjust as necessary. Have this operation performed by an authorized Kia dealer.
