Filter Inspection

If the vehicle is driven for extended periods in cities with heavily polluted air or on dusty unpaved roads, inspect it more often and replace it earlier. When replacing the climate control air filter, follow the procedure below and take care not to damage other components.

Replace the filter in accordance with the maintenance schedule.

Filter Replacement

1. Open the glove box.

2. With the glove box open, pull the support strap (1).

3. Press both sides (2) of the glove box as shown in the illustration. This will release the glove box stopper pins from their retaining positions, allowing the glove box to hang down.

4. Remove the HVAC air filter housing cover by pulling on both sides of the cover.

5. Replace the climate control air filter.

6. Reassemble in the reverse order of disassembly.

NOTICE

When replacing the climate control air filter, install it correctly. Otherwise, the system may make noise and filter efficiency may decrease.
