CAUTION

To avoid damage to the socket or electrical system failure:

  • Do not use accessories with a power consumption exceeding 120 W (DC 12 V, 10 A).
  • Use only genuine Mazda accessories or equivalent products.
  • Keep the cover closed when the accessory socket is not in use to prevent foreign objects and liquids from entering.
  • Insert the plug into the power socket correctly.
  • Do not insert a cigarette lighter into the accessory socket.

Depending on the device connected to the power socket, noise may be audible during audio playback.

Depending on the device connected to the accessory socket, it may affect the vehicle's electrical system and cause a warning light to illuminate. Disconnect the connected device and check whether the problem has been resolved. If the problem persists, disconnect the device from the socket and switch off the ignition.

If the problem still occurs, contact a qualified workshop; a Mazda Authorized Dealer is recommended.

CAUTION

To avoid battery discharge, do not use the accessory socket for extended periods when the engine is off or running at idle.
