WARNING

Do not hitch up or uncouple a trailer with overrun brake while the brake is applied. Otherwise, your hand could be trapped between the bumper and the drawbar.

  • Make sure the gearbox is in P.
  • Apply the electric parking brake.
  • Position the trailer horizontally behind the vehicle.
  • Couple the trailer.
  • Establish the electrical connection between the vehicle and the trailer.
  • Check that the trailer lighting system works.
