WARNING

Make sure that no persons or animals are in the area where the tow ball folds. Otherwise, they could be injured.

  • Fold the tow ball when you are not using the towing device.
  • Fit the cap onto the tow ball.

The unlocking knob is located behind the left-hand luggage compartment side trim.

  • Opening the cover: turn handle 1 counterclockwise, tilt the cover downward and remove it.

  • Pull unlocking knob 3 towards you.
  • Turn unlocking knob 3 counterclockwise as far as it will go.

The tow ball is unlocked and appears behind the bumper. Indicator lamp 4 flashes.

  • Push the tow ball in the direction of the arrow by hand until it locks behind the bumper.

Indicator lamp 4 goes out and the message disappears from the multifunction display.
