Storage compartment under the load compartment floor

Important safety notes

WARNING

Always close the load compartment floor when transporting items in the storage compartment underneath it.

Otherwise, you or other occupants could be injured by objects thrown forward in the event of hard braking, sudden changes of direction or an accident.

The maximum load of the storage compartment under the load compartment floor is 25 kg.

Opening and closing the load compartment floor

The compartment under the load compartment floor can be used to store a folding box, the TIREFIT tyre repair kit, the onboard tool kit, etc.

• Opening: open the tailgate.
• Pull handle 2 until it is vertical.
• Lift the load compartment floor 1 by handle 2.

• Unfold hook 3 located on the back of the load compartment floor.

• Hook hook 3 onto the upper seal 4 of the load compartment.
• Closing: unhook hook 3 from the upper seal 4.
• Attach hook 3 to the bracket on the back of the load compartment floor.
• Lower the load compartment floor.
• Press down on the load compartment floor until it locks.

Adjusting the height of the load compartment floor

The volume of the storage compartment under the load compartment floor can be increased or decreased as required. To do this, you can position the floor at 2 different heights. When the floor is in the highest position and the rear seat backrest is folded forward, you have a flat loading surface.

• Raising: lift the load compartment floor 2 by handle 1 (arrow 3) and pull it sharply upwards.
• Lower the floor 2 again. As you do so, push it forward to engage it in the upper guide.

The load compartment floor 2 locks in the upper position.

• Lowering: lift the load compartment floor 2 slightly by handle 1 and pull it sharply towards you.
• Lower the floor 2 slowly again. Push it towards the lower level at the same time.

The load compartment floor 2 locks in the lower position.
