Important Safety Notes
WARNINGThe cargo area cover alone cannot restrain or secure heavy objects, luggage or heavy cargo. In the event of sudden changes of direction, braking maneuvers or an accident, you may be struck by unsecured cargo. There is a risk of injury or even death!
Always stow items so that they cannot fly around. Secure items, luggage or cargo against sliding or tipping over, e.g. by lashing them down, even when using the cargo area cover.NOTE
When loading the vehicle, make sure that you do not load the cargo area above the lower edge of the side windows. Do not place any items on the cargo area cover.
The cargo area cover and the safety net are fitted as a double roller blind to anchor points on the right and left in the cargo area.
When the tailgate is opened, the cargo area cover rises automatically to make loading easier, and it lowers when the tailgate is closed. When the cargo area cover is hooked in, no objects in the cargo area may obstruct the lowering movement of the cargo area cover when the tailgate is closed. Otherwise the cargo area cover will rise again.
