Selector lever

Move the selector lever from position D to the left, then forward or backward.

= Shift to
higher gear

= Shift to
lower gear

Steering wheel shift paddles

Move the selector lever from position D to the left.

M or the selected gear number is shown on the transmission display.

Use the steering wheel shift paddles to change gears manually.

= right paddle, pull to
upshift.

= left paddle, pull to
downshift.

General information

If a higher gear is selected at too low a speed, or a lower gear at too high an engine speed, no gear change takes place. A message is then displayed in the driver information center.

In manual mode and at high engine speeds, the transmission does not upshift automatically.
